Flash the Station

Grab your spot light and join us and the Austin Astronomical Association at the Lozano Observatory on March 3rd to flash the ISS.

Don Pettit will be watching from the ISS to see if he can see our lights. If we are successful Don will call us at the Lozano Observatory.

UTSA Friday Night, Celestial Lights

Mark Jurena will present ‘Dawn and the Asteroids’ which, contrary to the sound, is not a name for a rock band. Dawn is a NASA mission sent to look at asteroids. 7:30pm, Science 2.02.02. Observations to follow assuming the sky is clear — a chance proposition given the forecast of thunderstorms on Thurs and Saturday!
